When? Summer 2026

What? This summer I interned at Elvia, Norway's largest power grid operator, as a service designer in an interdisciplinary team of four students. The task was highly technical, and none of us came from technical backgrounds but Elvia trusted us to approach it in our own way.

I initiated and led a design process using the Double Diamond methodology, running interviews, workshops, and user tests that ultimately shaped a prototype of a dashboard and forecasting tool addressing real pain points in grid operators' daily work, as well as a report describing all our findings and the whole process in detail, and a presentation held for colleagues and leaders at Elvia.

Who? This was a collaborative project done together with Ada-Lill Aarhus, Agnethe Pihl Giæver and Brage Sømoen.
